FAITH IS AN ONGOING PROCESS
Many Catholics make little progress in their spiritual life after Confirmation. They feel they “know it all” and don’t need to learn any more about their faith, but nothing could be further than the truth. Even Archbishop Gomez has said he doesn’t know everything there is to know. Faith is an ongoing process. Is Christ becoming more real to me? Is prayer an essential element to all my decision? Do I find God’s will for my life in the Bible? How good is my relationship with Christ? It can be hard to answer these questions. It can be hard to work at renewing your faith journey. There is no end to the growth and development you can experience by renewing this journey. This will help you to find life-giving energy and enable you to develop your relationship with God. Don’t give up! We are here to help you take those first steps back. Come to Youth Group – take a class, come to Praise and Worship, or help with a service Project. The rest is up to you, but your faith family is here waiting for you with open arms to welcome you back. What better time to come home, then during this upcoming season of Lent?
